Hi, everyone. This will be my last column as editor of Rental.
As many of you already know, I also serve as the editor of Rental's sister publications, Green Industry Pros and SnowPRO. As those publications grow in scope and embark on new initiatives such as a partnership with Turf's Up Radio, I will be taking a step back from Rental to zero in on those projects.
So, all of that to say, I will still be with Iron Markets and won't be going too far, so please feel free to stay in touch via LinkedIn.
I want to use this opportunity to introduce you all to Rental's new editor: Jonathan Kozlowski.
Jonathan currently serves as the editor of Concrete Contractor. Jonathan joined Concrete Contractor as the editor in October 2020 and Rental in October 2023. With 15-plus years in the B2B publishing industry, he started his career in 2006 editing, writing and publishing.
Jonathan has a strong footing in attention to detail, one he hopes to bring to Rental. With his many years of experience in the industry and with B2B publishing, I have no doubt Jonathan will do a tremendous job with Rental, and it makes the transition easier knowing the publication will be in such good hands.
Outside of the office, Jonathan aspires to become a published author of his own fiction writing and enjoys woodworking, working on small projects and figuring out the puzzle to accomplish the vision all while adapting to overcome problems as they arise. He and his wife have three cats and live in the historical district of Waukesha, Wis., in a 120-plus-year-old house.
You can email Jonathan at [email protected]. And, one last note about Jonathan, be prepared for the wordplay! Puns will always be intentional.
To wrap up, I also want to thank you all for how much I've enjoying learning about, reporting on and being part of rental the industry.
There are so many facets to the industry that the average person may take for granted, and I've appreciated the openness with which readers, sources, manufacturers and industry representatives have shared their side of the story and let me in to that world.
So, with that, I'd like to pass the torch over to Jonathan, who will kick off his introduction column in the January/February 2024 issue. Have a great rest of your year and a prosperous start to 2024!
