Makita has released the SDS-Plus Power Scraper (HK1820) featuring a powerful 5-amp motor that delivers 0-3,200 bpm and 2.9 ft. lbs. of impact energy for demanding applications.
“The new SDS-Plus Power Scraper is a unique demolition tool for its size, power level, and versatility,” said Rufus Richardson, senior product manager for commercial products, Makita U.S.A., Inc. “It is compact, lightweight, and offers a power level that makes it ideal for a variety of scraping and demolition applications.
The SDS Plus Power Scraper features 12 adjustable bit positions for various material removal applications. It features a quick-change retainer for changes. The HK1820 features an automatic brush cut-off that protects the commutator from damage.
It also features 550 watts of continuous power output. The Power Scraper features double insulation for reduced noise. The Power Scraper utilizes Makita’s SDS-PLUS accessories and scraping tools that are a part of the Makita carbide and demolition steel for scraping, chiseling, tile removal and various removal applications.
The HK1820 features an air cushion promoting tool life. The Power Scraper comes with factory grease already packed for reduced maintenance. It also features all-ball bearing construction and a rugged metal gear housing.
