The Vantage 600 SD and Air Vantage 600 SD feature a 64-hp Deutz TD2.9L4 Tier 4 Final-compliant, turbocharged diesel engine, enabling them to produce 600 amps/40 volts at 60% duty cycle and 575 amps/43 volts at 100% duty cycle. The units can handle Stick, TIG, MIG and flux-cored welding and arc gouging, plus are capable of delivering up to 12,000-watt single-phase or 20,000-watt three-phase, 120/240-volt AC generator power. The Air Vantage 600 SD includes a VMAC belt-drive rotary screw compressor capable of producing 150-psi system pressure. Other features include Waveform Control Technology, new pulsing capabilities for improved arc control for out-of-position work and ArcLink digital communication for fast, reliable communications with such components as the Power Feed 25M semiautomatic wire feeder.
