Genie has announced that attendees of The ARA Show this year will be given the opportunity to participate in a sort of game. This game is a test of patience and time. Whoever lasts the longest can win a Genie Telehandler.
According to the press release:
Attendees at the 2024 ARA Show in New Orleans will have a chance to put their physical and mental toughness to the test — and the individual who can outlast their competitors will take home a Genie GTH-5519.
Genie’s GTH Grand Giveaway Endurance Contest will kick off at 12:30 p.m. (local time) on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, when 14 competitors will take their places around a Genie telehandler. From there, it’s a test of endurance. Competitors will rack up time by standing on their podiums. The individual who stands on a podium for the longest amount of time, between the start of the competition and its conclusion when the ARA Show ends on Wednesday, Feb. 21, will win the telehandler.
In addition, Genie is making several new product announcements during the show. Genie takes its MEWP training into the future with a new Virtual Reality Platform. Genie's next-generation TraX system delivers reduced maintenance costs — the four-point track system is available globally on five boom lifts.
Genie expanded the availability of its Lift Tools Access Deck accessory to include Genie GS-1932m and GS-1432m micro scissor lifts. It also expanded its portfolio of telehandler attachments, including a new auger for the GTH-5519 telehandler.
