For this year’s Editor’s Choice Awards, the Rental staff zeroed in on this year’s top 35 products.
To add validity to the process, winners were chosen based on a nomination and selection process by the Rental editorial staff. The process adds credibility, assurance and uniformity for all nominees.
The Rental staff selected products that represent every sector in the rental industry: business management, construction, power generation, aerial lift, trucks and transportation and general tool.

InTempo MX goes beyond just a "dot on a map." It pairs location and usage data with rental data, such as contract and jobsite information, in one easy-to-use platform. Users can pull data from any device, be it InTempo MX devices or third-party hardware, and any rental software for a comprehensive connected assets strategy. Identify exceptions in real time and make informed decisions in seconds; it's the easiest way to deliver true business value from your telematics program.
InTempo MX delivers more actionable insights, such as which customer is currently in possession of the equipment, where on the jobsite the machine is located, or when it's left its designated geofence, when the machine is coming due for preventive maintenance or routine inspections, when the machine is coming due for pickup and when the customer should be charged for extra usage. InTempo MX delivers major operational savings, not just in time at the rental counter, but in terms of dispatching (for faster pickups and deliveries); service (higher first-time fix rates through remote diagnostics and fewer breakdowns due to insufficient preventive maintenance); and even customer service (by passing key telematics data directly on to the customer).
